Hi All,
Starting this topic for traders to share their feedback on the newly released SEBI Intraday Margin Rule disallowing leverage for MIS trades.
Most common apprehension
1. Will Indian stock market lose massive liquidity and the robustness?
2. Will technicals and strategies be impacted due to this move?

SEBI and the funds are always against retail investors and particularly traders. |

I support restrictions on small investor, like imposing margins.
Many times small investor is made 420 by his broker or by "sure" tips from others. Small investor needs to be protected from his own ignorance and greed!
Just like passing SEBI broker test is required to become broker assistant, SEBI should make it compulsory for investor to pass a trader's test!

Disclaimer: I lost money around 2010 thru tips from fellow investors/ broker assistants in Bangalore 3 office of Chennai HQ trading firm I sold and bot thru, so I am talking from personal experience |

i dont agree with you ,BTST trader is gone ...we need a mechanism so that the broker can not fiddle with client money, but it does not mean i can not buy and sell shares (T+1)with my own money.....& why do i need to give
margin on my own shares..?
Sir we should encourage employment in this sector,
SEBI should not have any investor test or any technical certification...Jiska money hai he should know the risk....Greed and fear drive the market...I have the right to be greedy and fearful... Govt needs mechanishm not danda ki sab band kardo...
For Tips and tricks SEBI should be conducting an audit(infact they have started..) on the records, tracksheets etc by tips providing cos...
pls share ur feedback |
