Be it individual or be it industry…. Now all are well aware of the consequences of being leveraged or over leveraged.
All learnt the lesson that working within the capacity is safe and brings slow but sustainable growth.
On the other hands leveraging is like doing tricks of balancing act and moreover creates a bubble which can burst any time.
The outcome of this lesson is that the word "loan" has lost all its charm at least these days.
Both lenders & borrowers are equally unwilling in large size loans and are taking conservative routs to sustain themselves.
The best example of this is perhaps the repeated rate cuts by fed and still their economy collapsing.
In fact cut in interest rates is an act to create artificial demand through providing leveraging.
But as I said above now words like "loan/leveraging" have lost their charm so any act to create artificial demand (rate cuts) wont do overnight wonders.
Basic economy cycle will take its own time to complete the ongoing lean patch.
In fact basic economy cycle is governed by the Mother Nature to slow down the "overall consumption" to give time to fast depleting natural reserves to recover so that the current generation does not leave exhausted reserves for generations to come..!!
Regards
